Born 1943. Maritime Consultant with JTS Marine LLC. Graduate of USMMA (B.S.), Rutgers School of Law (J.D.), and USN School of Diving and Salvage. 1965-1981: Blue water shipping and marine salvage with service as a deck officer and salvage master on all types vessels and in shore side management. 1981-2009: Maritime litigation practice with Haight Gardner Poor & Havens and Holland & Knight LLP and partner in both firms. 2009-present: Owner/Principal Consultant in JTS Marine LLC. Unlimited USCG Master’s License with service at sea in that capacity, and experience at sea and/or ashore with most maritime contract types and forms, ship handling and navigation, casualty investigations, cargo handling, and ship management.
