Previously President, Burmpac Oil Company 1986-91. From 1973-86 with Burmah Oil Tankers Ltd. as Executive Vice President and President of Burmah Oil Transshipment Ltd. Emphasis of experience is the commercial, financial and operational aspects of oil tankers, oil terminals, and oil trading.

1991 to 1999: President, U.S. Titan, Inc. – Pelham, NY

Titan operates a time chartered fleet of Suezmax, Aframax, and Panamax vessels for clean and dirty trading. Terminal projects include a joint venture with Morgan Stanley Energy Group and the Irish National Petroleum Co. to reactivate the Bantry Bay oil terminal and assisted PDVSA with the restructuring of the Freeport, Bahamas oil terminal (BORCO).

1991-92: Consultant, Saudi Aramco – Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

Retained by Saudi Aramco to assist with their intended purchase of the Grand Bahama crude oil terminal. Assisted in perfecting Aramco’s Letter of Intent. Consulted for various subsidiaries and technical, crude marketing, legal, and financial functions.

1986-1991: President, Burmpac Oil Company – New York, NY

Following the acquisition of Burmah’s Bahamas oil terminal, appointed Chief Executive Officer for this oil shipping and terminaling company.

1980-1986: Executive Vice President, Burmah Oil Tankers Limited – New York, NY

Responsible for the marketing, operation, and accounting of the Bahamas Oil Terminal. Accountable for Burmah’s relations with the Government of the Bahamas. Negotiated amendments to the Operating Lease with the Government. Also, responsible for the freight trading, COA’s, and vessel chartering.

1977-1980: Vice President, Marketing, Burmah Oil Tankers Limited – New York, NY

Established and implemented the marketing strategy for Burmah 5 million-barrel Bahamas Oil Terminal including the parceling of oil cargoes, contracts of affreightment, and storage contracts.

1975-1977: Assistant to the President, Burmah Oil Tankers Limited – New York, NY

Member of crisis team organized to restructure this division. The team’s mandate was to unwind the major profit draining time charters, bareboat charters, and new building ULCC commitments while retaining the profitable core of this 50 tanker fleet company. Inaugurated the new Bahamas crude oil terminal.

1973-1975: Personnel Director, Burmah Oil Inc. – New York, NY

Responsible for employment, compensation, employee benefits, and pension plans for Burmah’s U.S subsidiaries.

1966-1973: Various administrative positions, RCA Corp.

Recruited into their Corporate Management Training Program from college; rotated through several divisions and subsidiaries.
