Experienced in dry cargo, tanker, container-ship administration (including liner service contracts), chartering and ship operations, as well as ship sale and purchase. Extensive background in Hull, Machinery (including general average and salvage), cargo, P & I (including crew illness/injury ), pollution and Charterers’ Legal Liability insurance claims. Served as Owner’s on scene MIC for complex salvage (MV Mari Boeing at Bermuda ), refloating (S/T Cosmos Trader – Viet Nam) jettison of wetted hazmat DRIB cargo (MV Mount Athos – Panama ), discharge of infested corn cargo (Yukon Mart- Peru), post-casualty removal towage operations (S/T Atlantic-Haifa/Piraeus, MV Mari Boeing Bermuda/NY/Japan), and Charterer’s on scene Representative for investigation and discharge of collapsed deck stow of loaded containers (MV Independent Spirit- Antwerp).
